It was Christmas time, many years ago, at a performance of “Jeff Cosco and Times Square.” We decided to do a Holiday song. I turned to Kris Larson and said “Silent night, real bluesy.” He started the perfect piano part and the band followed. This version was born that night.
Thanks Kris! We later recorded it and I play it every year.
